I’m Blue

What I’m Wearing:
1) T by Alexander Wang Cotton Poplin Dress
2) Alexander Wang Kori Boots
3) Alexander Wang Prisma Wallet Clutch

I recently purchased this dress at Nordstrom and they had a great selection for spring! I was immediately drawn to the color and textile. The fit is also amazing. Normally shirt dresses don’t fit me well because of how oversized it can be, but Alexander Wang got the fit spot on. I also recently purchased the wallet from the Barney’s Warehouse website. I’ve always had my eye on this clutch but didn’t need a reason for it until recently…I used carry my Saint Laurent cardholder but it started becoming bulky and I was afraid that the edges would tear (to many credit cards, oh my goodness!) So I decided to hunt down the perfect wallet. At first, I wanted a Céline or Saint Laurent continental wallet but it was out of my price range. Even though the Alexander Wang clutch is a bit more oversized than what I wanted, it served its’ purpose. It literally carries everything I need in my life. Who needs a heavy purse nowadays?! I’m loving my new goods.

Color Me Robin Egg

What I’m Wearing:
1) Rebecca Taylor Hooded Mesh Pullover
2) Joie Terina Leather Skirt
3) 3.1 Phillip Lim Wedged Sneaker
4) Proenza Schouler PS11 Bag

I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t had the time to blog or even do anything! My apologies. Just wanted to share with everyone what I recently purchased. In my earlier post, I mentioned about meshy, perforated things being one of my favorite trends this season. I instantly fell in love with this mesh pullover. Although I’m on board with the perforation trend, what I love most is the color. The robin egg is subtle and could still be worn as a neutral. But boy, do I need some color in my wardrobe! I’m trying my best to stay away from black and gray. In Rebecca Taylor’s look book, they have it paired with a cotton poplin skirt and white strappy heels. I prefer something a little more comfortable and wearable, so I have it paired with Joie’s leather skirt and my favorite wedges.

What I’m Wearing:
1) Vince Mesh Detail Sweater
2) Vince Side Strap Track Pant
3) Proenza Schouler PS11
4) 3.1 Phillip Lim Sneaker Wedge (purchased from a sample sale)
5) Prada Catwalk Sunglasses

One of my favorite trends for the Spring season is a mesh detailing! Mesh mesh mesh! I love that every other designer out there has their own version of a perforated, laser cut out, mesh top. It’s sporty, delicate and very unique.  Vince makes a really great mesh detail sweater. It’s very light-weight and easy to care for. The only down side is that I know this sweater will grow over time and it won’t go back to the way it was in its original package. Not a big deal though, because I would probably wear it as a bikini cover up or even a dress. Anyway, in my next post I will show and tell some of my favorite “mesh” pieces.

What I’m Wearing:
1) Theory Quilted Leather Jacket
2) T by Alexander Wang Striped Linen Tee
3) Each x Other Leather Trim Boyfriend Denim
3) Black Oiled Birkenstocks

For Christmas, my boyfriend got me a pair of Birkenstocks (one of many gifts). Not going to lie, I was really excited to get them. One of his best friends own them and I was always intrigued by how comfortable they look; they’re therapeutic too! Even though they’re not the most attractive sandal in the world, I feel that it could work well with some looks. I’ve seen other bloggers wear them with boyfriend jeans, some will wear with long maxi skirts, or some will just sport a totally chic monochromatic look. Personally I like them paired with boyfriend jeans for comfort.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! I hope you all are enjoying the New Year so far. I’m excited for what 2014 has to offer. I’ve set some goals for myself for the new year but just to name a few, my goal is to save money, move out, upgrade to a new car, continue to be happy, wake up early every day, focus on my blog, perhaps model more, eat right and exercise. What’s yours?

I’m so sorry for not posting enough. I’ve been so busy these past couple of weeks. Had finals, then the holidays came around, and then there was everything in between. However, I am so excited to share this new photo series that I recently did with a good friend of mine (cc: Jon Chen). We wanted to do something urban, yet high fashion and modern; something a little simple. I’m really happy with how these photos came out. It has become one of my favorite shoots that I’ve ever done. Now I can add these to my model portfolio with the hopes of getting into a really good modeling agency this new year. For those of you who don’t know, I quit modeling for awhile back because of how busy I’ve been and how exhausting it can be. But I miss the thrill of being in the industry and the people I would meet. Hopefully I can get into Next, Ford, IMG, or Vision. I’d like to dream big. Well, wish me luck.

Vince Says Look 6:

What I’m Wearing:

1) Vince Asymmetric Mock Neck Coat
2) Vince Linen Tee
3) Rag & Bone Black Denim
4) Alexander Wang Kori Boots
5) Marc Jacobs Beanie
6) Tom Ford Sunglasses

I’ve been looking for a classic black coat and this Vince coat is just perfect. I love how minimalistic and chic it looks. The leather detailing on the sleeves and zipper trim makes the coat unique and modern. Also, it keeps me warm! Perfect for any cold weather, such like the cold snap that’s been hitting Orange County. Brr!
